Accrington Football

Club is a non-existent now an Engl ish football club, which had its headquarters in Accrington. He w as one of the twelve founders of the national championship the Fo otball League, the first of its kind in the world. The club was f ounded in 1878, at a meeting in one of the towns pubs. Stadium team became the object Thorneyholme Road, which still serves the local cricket team. In 1883, the band was excluded from the English Football Association for secretly paying their players for the game.
